radford dale Vinum
Releasing the 2025 vintage
a note from the winemaker, Petroné Thomas
“The Stellenbosch Vinum harvest was a dream.
The cooler start to summer, following a high-rainfall winter, allowed the fruit to ripen evenly and at a measured pace. It was a privilege to have these conditions in the cellar, particularly with the majority of the cultivars being early-ripening varieties. The even pace of ripening allowed us to give each batch the attention to detail it deserved.
Overall, the wines show elevated natural acidity, while the extended hang time brought beautifully ripe tannins, giving the wines subtle power without compromising their drinkability. The white wines in particular are showing beautifully, with freshness, precision and a distinct mineral-driven character.“
