We had long desired Grenache on the Helderberg farm, and after much deliberation we finally got our wish from the owners. It’s a young, single vineyard, and this is just our third release from it, and first dressed up as Vinum. We’re encouraged by the progress (as are our nearby peers), and it looks like coastal Stellenbosch will offer up a growing category of Grenache over the next 5-10 years. 

Deep crimson in colour with a subtle ruby edge. Aromas of ripe strawberry, cherry, and hints of wild herbs rise from the glass, accented by a touch of white pepper. The palate is juicy and expressive, showing vibrant red fruit supported by silky, well-integrated tannins that lead to a long, elegant finish.

 A note on sustainability:  in line with Radford Dale's increasing focus on sustainable business practices, all the Vinum wines are bottled in eco-friendly, lightweight glass (396 gm) with recyclable screw caps.
