We work really hard to do the right thing. It's easy to claim that you farm organically, that you treat people ethically or care about environmental sustainability; it's much harder to receive certified and consistent accreditation from the relevant official bodies, year after year.

ECOCERT

Ecocert is an organic certification and inspection body established in France in 1991. With activity in over 80 countries Ecocert has become one of the major organic certification organisations in the world.

The Radford Dale Organic range of wines have been fully organically certified by Ecocert.

IPW

The South African wine industry has taken the lead when it comes to ecological and environmental regulation, thanks to the IPW scheme.

Integrated Production of Wine (IPW) is a voluntary environmental sustainability scheme established by the South African wine industry in 1998 of which Radford Dale is a fully accredited member. There are annual self-audits and periodic independent external audits.

WIETA

Since the South African constitution arrived at the dawn of democracy in 1996, regulations, conditions and working practices have been finely tuned to protect the rights of all workers, including those in agriculture.

Radford Dale is a fully compliant member of WIETA (Wine Industry Ethical Trading Association) .
