2024 | Coastal Region
Pinotage is a relative newcomer to Radford Dale (our first release of this undervalued grape, Frankenstein, came in 2011), yet the varietal has become an important part of what we do. Quite simply, we’re looking for purity of fruit and a freshness in our expressions.
Deep purple in colour with a vibrant ruby rim. The nose reveals bright plum and raspberry aromas, complemented by a subtle mineral freshness that adds lift and definition. The palate is medium-bodied and poised, showcasing pure fruit flavours supported by fine-grained tannins that lead to a clean, fresh finish.
A note on sustainability: in line with Radford Dale's increasing focus on sustainable business practices, all the Vinum wines are bottled in eco-friendly, lightweight glass (396 gm) with recyclable screw caps.
