Radford Dale’s Vinum began with two of the Cape’s most celebrated grapes, Chenin and Pinotage. Building on this legacy the range has now been expanded to incorporate four other wines, a Chardonnay, Gamay, Grenache and a Pinot Noir. 

Aiming to be equally at home on bistro tables and wine shop shelves, the focus for Vinum is also to offer a major value proposition, as many of the details are similar to that of the premium Terroir range from Radford Dale. Similar or identical vineyard sites as well as viticultural practices and winemaking techniques are being employed. The delivery however is less cerebral and more about drinking pleasure.

Last but not least, in line with our increasing focus on sustainable business practices, all the Vinum wines are bottled in eco-friendly, lightweight glass (396 gm) with recyclable screw caps.

Classic Moules Marinières with Aioli & Croutons

Nothing beats a comforting, crunchy schnitzel. But perhaps this version is levelling things up to the max, using Rootstock’s hand-made Summer Truffle Crisps in the crust, served in a silky bed of cauliflower puree and a drizzle of creamy dill sauce.

French Style Platter, with Chicken Liver Paté

Entertaining is always easier with a French style snacking platter. For this one, we’ve teamed up with Klein Joostenberg to bring you this delightful platter, including a silky smooth organic chicken liver paté.

Pizza bianca with mushrooms, blue cheese & leeks

Pizza bianca is a popular style of Italian pizza that omits the traditional tomato base sauce for a “whiter” appearance. This robust combination of exotic mixed mushrooms, tangy blue cheese (preferably gorgonzola) and soft buttery leeks makes a phenomenal pairing with Radford Dale’s Vinum Pinot Noir  

Cassoulet with Chicken, Pork belly & Smoked sausage

Although there are countless renditions of this iconic, traditional French dish from the Languedoc region, we have created a recipe that is slightly more accessible. This cassoulet is the perfect pairing for Radford Dale’s Vinum Gamay Noir.
