Our 3rd release, but from vines we have worked with for many years. Following our purchase of an organic wine farm in Elgin, we have redirected these Stellenbosch sites from our Terroir tier and into Vinum. We’re big fans of granite Chardonnay and here in the Polkadraai the soils are younger, decomposing & carrying warmth, whilst the ocean breezes keep things in check above ground. It gives coastal Stellenbosch Chardonnay a unique character – a telltale smack of minerality and real tension from underlying, naturally derived acidity

Pale gold in colour with a vibrant green tinge. The aroma offers subtle hints of stone dust intertwined with refreshing lemon cordial flourishes. On the palate, there's a delicate concentration of translucent red apple concentrate complemented by nuances of tangerines. The wine concludes with a generous and balanced finish, leaving a satisfyingly fresh finish.

A note on sustainability:  in line with Radford Dale's increasing focus on sustainable business practices, all the Vinum wines are bottled in eco-friendly, lightweight glass (396 gm) with recyclable screw caps.
